What types of training does Townhall II offer?

Volunteer Training

Townhall II specializes in crisis intervention training, trainees who successfully complete the training are asked to fulfill a 200 hour minimum volunteer commitment to the Townhall II 24-hour Helpline. Townhall also offers volunteer Mediator and Crime Victim Advocacy training.

Training Institute

The Townhall II Training Institute sponsors workshops and conferences throughout the year, which incorporate other local, state, and national presenters on a wide variety of topics, such as:

§ Child abuse recognition and reporting

§ Suicide prevention and intervention

§ Listening and communication skills

§ Conflict management

§ Bullying prevention
